Set within a lush green landscape, Forest Villa is conceived as a retreat where architecture dissolves into its surroundings. Rather than competing with nature, the home embraces it with framing views, welcoming daylight, and creating a seamless dialogue between indoors and outdoors.

Drawing inspiration from the timeless character of English country homes, the design reinterprets familiar elements through a contemporary lens. Soft arches, generous steel-framed openings, natural stone, timber, handcrafted finishes and a restrained material palette come together to create spaces that feel warm, enduring and deeply connected to their setting.

The plan is intentionally open and fluid, allowing living, dining and outdoor spaces to flow effortlessly into one another. Every room is designed to maximise natural light and establish a visual connection with the surrounding forest, making the changing seasons an integral part of daily life.

Locally sourced materials, honest craftsmanship and a preference for natural textures shape the experience of the home. Rather than relying on excess, the design celebrates simplicity, proportion and permanence, creating a sanctuary that is both refined and quietly lived in.
